No — all lessons at LV Driving School are taught in an automatic vehicle. We are a specialist automatic driving school and do not offer manual tuition.

We cover West Wickham and the surrounding South London and North Kent border area, including Bromley, Beckenham, Croydon, Addiscombe, Shirley, Elmers End, Eden Park, Hayes, Keston, Shortlands, Bickley, and Chislehurst.

Yes — you must hold a valid provisional driving licence before you can take lessons on public roads. You can apply for one through the DVLA website. We can advise on this when you call.

An automatic licence permits you to drive automatic vehicles only. If you later want to drive a manual car you would need to take and pass an additional manual driving test. For many people an automatic licence covers all their everyday driving needs.

Many learners find that removing clutch control and gear changes reduces anxiety significantly, allowing them to focus on the road and build confidence more quickly. We have specific experience teaching nervous and anxious drivers and work at whatever pace helps you feel relaxed.
